The Uncommon People of the Jubilee Line
An 8 year drop in life expectancy from Westminster to Canning Town? Out of touch bankers? Forgettable suburbia? The Jubilee Line looked as though it was emblematic of a stereotypically disconnected London with little in common from one tube stop to the next.
Going our in each for one person at each of its 27 stops, talking to them, recording one thing about them, and taking their portrait I found that a very different picture emerged when pieced together.
Twenty seven Londoners, who at first sight seemed disconnected became united by a share human spirit running like an invisible silver thread through the Uncommon People of the Jubilee Line.
